A friend gave me his old Canon AE-1 after he heard mine had died. This was the first roll of film through it in a while. It jammed up on me when I was rewinding and I had to open it up in a bathroom. It was as dark as I could make it, but obviously some light leaked.
I love the AE-1 and it came with a couple of nice lenses, so I’m hopeful I can fix whatever happened when I tried to rewind it.
Jim.
Jim asked if I planned to take his picture. I said I would like to if he didn’t mind. He didn’t mind at all and even invited me to join him for breakfast. And that’s a cool thing about walking around with a camera - sometimes you meet people you wouldn’t have met otherwise. We talked about his upcoming surgery at the VA, I gave him the name of the cholesterol medication Nana takes (the only one she’s found without horrible side effects), he told me about his grandson. Nice guy.
